"I was working on a renewal plan for one of our groups, in an effort to provide the same quality product with minimal premium increase. The group administrator seemed very concerned about maintaining the same low deductible that she had in her group's prior plans, so I asked why she felt that was so important. She stated that they had always offered her staff a low deductible and low co-payment, she was afraid to change fearing there could be loss of benefit."

"She asked for my opinion, we discussed the pros and cons of a Medical Reimbursement Arrangement, an option she had not considered. She ended up following my advice; the result was a substantial savings in premium without loss of benefit. It was a win-win all around."

In January 2006 Greg Blythe joined Agency Associates, Inc. as an Account Executive for all of the agency's small group accounts. Greg came to AAI with over 5 years of insurance experience with one of the three largest insurance companies in the nation. Demonstrating his knowledge of the industry gave the partners the comfort level needed to entrust Greg with the largest book of business in the agency. His current book of business is over 200 groups, and it continues to grow. For most of these groups, Greg serves as the only point of contact. Because of his success in servicing and retaining the business he was promoted to Small Group Supervisor.

Greg currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Brandy, and two daughters, Breanna and Brooke. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his children, coaching sports, and spending time with close friends and family.
